To walk out the door with no agenda, no contribution to society, is what Sex Pistoler Johnny Rotten dubbed as the "derive." It means "to drift" in French and basically entails that you let the enviornment drag you around. With Glen's help, I wandered amongst the concrete cluster fuck where the 5, 22, and 57 freeways intersect. Part of the project is to have a sense of what emotions the environment is making you feel. They were manifested through the music I was listening to at the time.
